Lawrence County ICE Custody Paths
ICE is a federal custody channel, not a Lawrence County jail. No official source reviewed identified Lawrence County Corrections Center as an ICE detention facility or established a county ICE detention contract. Still, ICE may become involved in an individual case after local custody. - Read whether the result concerns current ICE detention or recent release. Do not relabel a local jail transfer as an ICE release.

- If no result appears, contact the ICE Detention Reporting and Information Line during its published hours for basic case information within agency rules.

No Lawrence County ICE Facility

BOP covers federal prison custody, not civil immigration detention. DHS-VINE is an ICE notification service for its eligible audience and is not a public archive for everyone.
Lawrence Release to ICE Transfer
An ICE detainer asks a law-enforcement agency to notify ICE before an impending release and maintain custody for up to 48 hours so ICE can assume custody, subject to governing law and the individual circumstances. The request does not prove that ICE actually took custody in every case. The named person's records must establish service, response, and transfer.
For a Lawrence County case, ask Lawrence County Corrections Center for the admission and departure timestamps, release or transfer disposition, releasing authority, and receiving agency. If the entry names ICE, search ODLS promptly because its public recent-release period is limited. The UJS case docket can explain the state case but will not replace the county door time or federal immigration record.
A bail or dismissal entry can authorize release in one local matter while an immigration transfer still follows. Likewise, a person can later leave ICE custody while facing court dates or another supervision duty. State each conclusion narrowly: “transferred from LCCC to ICE,” or “released from ICE on the date shown,” rather than “free.”
Lawrence ICE Release Notifications
DHS-VINE provides ICE custody-change notifications for eligible victims, witnesses, and representatives. Its possible notices include release from ICE custody or removal. Registration can use the person's name and country or A-number and country, with phone, text, or email contact methods. Eligibility must remain part of any description of this service.

Keep the dates in sequence. A Lawrence County departure may precede ICE intake. A later ICE release may fall within ODLS's recent scope and then disappear from the public result. Historical proof may require records rather than a live locator.

Limits of Lawrence ICE Searches

The United States Marshals Service may hold federal pretrial prisoners and use contracted state or local space, but it has no public person-by-person historical release locator. BOP begins a different custody layer for sentenced federal prisoners. Neither fact establishes that Lawrence County has a federal contract, and BOP's locator should not be used as a substitute for ICE ODLS.
